Default Passenger Front Door Speaker Cover Removal

Has anyone ever removed this part? I purchased the part and have the door apart, but it seems like the speaker cover is glued onto the door or something.

You have to remove the entire door panel. The speaker cover won't come off. There are two or three screws inside the door handle and one or two along the edge of the door. When they're all out, you lift up and out to remove the panel, but be gentle because it'll still be connected to the door by various cables.

yeah - got the door panel off and speaker out of the way. when it comes to the actual cover, it seems like it was glued or something within the holes - got 3 to come out, but there is a piece of the old cover still in one of the holes :-/

It's not designed to be removable.

that's kind of stupid, I would imagine it's a common part that needs to be replaced given the location - anyways was able to get it out, thanks for the advice
