Also, I really love Audis in every way, their looks and their quality. What I don't understand at all is people who customize Audis because really in every case the stock look is beautiful and they genuinely don't appreciate it. I get it if they want to upgrade things to a higher level but still OEM such as RS4 bumpers and RS4 wheels etc, but why would you put on black angel eye headlights? The German engineers would weep at the sight of such rice-a-roni parts, they look straight out of a tuner Acura... Also all the ricer clear taillights, terrible custom wheels that look worse than stock, airbag suspension that looks straight out of an ancient lowrider and ruins the Audi look, and custom stereos are terrible because they are not better in any way and screw up the wiring so the next owner can't put a stock one in...

But in the end its just a preference, so feel free to disregard what I just said...
I used to think the same way about slammed Audis, then it started to grow on me, and now I love it. It's not for everyone, but once you realize you're driving a base model entry level "luxury" family sedan, you'll get over yourself and have some fun with the car.

Thankfully there are those of us that modify in a tasteful manner.

I own my car, the german engineer/modeler who designed the car years ago doesn't and probably has other issues on the mind.

Its not that I don't like the slammed look actually, I just can't really get over the practicality of it... I realize Audis aren't the sporty cars in the world, but I'd like to retain as sporty handling as I can, and springs are obviously the way to do that... I would happily lower my car on coilovers, those are quite good for handling. Also I understand some people don't need to take corners hard and fast, so there's nothing wrong with air for them.

i searched thats the reason for the bump haha but im haveing this problemright now.
is it possible to just chrome the stock ones since the caps are no longer available and i cant seem to find a set...and this thread convinced me to keep the stubby rather then try and swap a full size one.

I'm pretty sure you can chrome plate just about anything, it's just a matter of how much will it cost.

You think you'd be able to wrap mirrors with that stuff?
