people with forge splitter dv

Default people with forge splitter dv

what do u recommend having it at, harder or softer, right now mines softer so the BOV is really loud, i just replaced my vac hose so i decided to pull off my dv and grease it. while its off wondering what you peoples would recommend having the spring at. kthx

Changing the spring tension isn't going to make it louder or softer. It just changes how much vacuum the valve needs to keep it open. Best thing to do is to adjust the spring tension to the point so the BOV is just closed at idle. This way it is closed during idle but still needs the least amount of vacuum to open it all the way, if you make it too tight the valve will not open quick enough and this can cause damage to your turbo from surging/cavitation.


I have ran both the GFB hybrid and the GFB FX Stealth, the Forge is basically just a copy of the GFB valves.

I thought he splitter is designed to always be closed at idle. 10-15 clicks from clockwise is what me and a few others think works well for spring tension.
