Default performance coil packs?

hey guys, started the a4 quatttro today found it was running a bit ruff, took it down the street turned around and checked the engine, misfiring on 1 and 4, so i need some new coils seen a couple for 20bucks oem that is, just wondering if there is any performance coils maybe made of ceramic? thanks guys

update: seen some Hitachi "E" coil packs wondering if anybody tried these? ECS tunning sells a stage one for 150$ with 4 new coils seals and new stainless head bolts.

update: decided to go with the OEM rev. R coilpacks with NGK plugs couple of dyno tests done found on another audi fourm,

http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...38-spark-plugs

red = OEM rev R coilpacks with Bosch plugs
violet = Okada coilpacks with NGK plugs
light blue = OEM rev. R coilpacks with NGK plugs

It all depends on the VIN - if yours is in the recall range and it hasn't been done, you'll get them.

They probably won't do the recall swap unless you bring the car in. How far is the shop from your house? I think you could prolly get away with limping a few miles on two bad coils but I wouldn't drive much further than that.

did the online search with vin, its not covered in the recall, was thinking about calling them to price out the revision R coil packs, anyother suggestions? i heard the revision R has more spark but more prone to pop, as the revision D coils have less spark and less prone to pop
