pics of my blown turbo and need help
Recently I had a chance to take of my stock turbo because i saw white smoke coming out the exhaust and near the turbo in the engine bay. I expected an oil leak and this is what I found....
When I was taking off the intake hose I accidently broke off a plastic hose(need the name and part number) and I think a "diverter check valve cut off" if someone can verify for me....
....And...Can someone tell me what washers and gaskets I need before installing my new turbo because when I was disassembling the stock k03, some of the washers and gaskets fell and I lost track of everything...(im dumb)...but can you help me?
99.5 audi a4 1.8t tip Quattro...158,000 miles and now this...
THANKS! Any help appreciated!

yea the broken part to the right is your diverter valve, replace it with a 710N or aftermarket metal valve.
the other one is some sort of crankcase vent tube, usually that is the pancake valve though that doesnt look like what was in there. it might not be a bad idea to replace the oil lines on the turbo while you are in there, they often get filled with crap over years and can kill a turbo pretty fast from no oil pressure. i would spend the $50 on new lines and make sure your new turbo will last. at the least clean them out very good.
wtf got sucked into the turbo to chew it up like that?

Part on the right with 1 red arrow is the BPV elbow tube, it connects to another tube that goes down to your BPV which is located on the turbo outlet hose. Only the 97 had the BPV located in the turbo inlet hose(pictured).
How many washers do I need total for the turbo? like the coolant line and the oil line in all...And where can I find the turbo mounting bolts? I look on autohausaz.com and getcoolparts.com but no one sold it separately...
Ghost6303, I have no clue what got in it...i guess after 158,xxx it finally gave out..=(
I just bought a Borg Warner k04 on ebay for $240.00!!! Can't wait!
