Ok so this is a long story. I got a ko4 for my 99 a4 i drove it without a tune for a while and it was fine. After i got the tune i noticed some pretty bad compressor surge so i was gonna get a new recirculating valve or a bov. Before i got the chance my turbo blew on me. Long story short i was just curious if that was the problem or if any of you guys are familiar with this.. im trying to get a new turbo and valve now and i just wanna know if thats the way to go? Thanks.

 

if the valve wasnt bleed off the pressure, it certianly helped kill the turbo in no time.
