They're ******* crap. I got em for $50 and gas money for an hour's drive so I was definitely down to try them. The hype is correct - they suck filthy hooker ***. Spring rates softer than stock means that even though my rears are only down 1.25", I hit the bumpstops multiple times a day. Shitty reflexes, and threads that corrode and seize the perches in place (not to mention, the finest pitch I've seen - about 10x finer than they need to be). There's really no upside at all other than yes, you can be low.

LOL.

I knew you were complaining but I didn't know they were that bad. Go buy Nick's ST!

Nah don't really care enough about being low to keep having to replace tires - it's not worth it to me. I loved the ride/handling on the S4 gear, and I'm gonna start prepping this car for backup duty this year. Wife won't drive it now at the ride heigt I have (down 2.5" up front) for fear of cracking the pan on something, so the S4 setup will fix that. That way, if I have to take the Odyssey down for a few days for work, she can drive either the A4 or the upcoming D3.

My plans are to keep it running... Did pretty much all the big stuff I wanted to do in 2011. Maybe I'll get a tune for my car that is more compatible with FrankenTurbo, if I feel like dishing out $840ish.

I thought there was a guy doing FT tunes for considerably less than that? His name escapes me atm...

This year will probably bring another t-belt job, crank/cam seals, vc gaskets/painted vc. Fix my idle issue. Trans/ diff(rest of mounts not installed. Maybe find avant and buy.
