Do you think you could have bent a valve starting it up when it wasn't perfectly in time?

LMAO!...its cool...i just need to get this code cleared I think. Cause I'm under the impression for the TBA to work there must not be any ECU codes stored.

We'll see...I think its the throttle body itself. I remember when I plugged the battery up the first time a few days ago when it was unplugged for a few days, it seemed like the TB was clicking an awful lot, like the connection at the battery was made for a second then lost, then made again a couple times. I checked the harnesses going to it and everything. I think the alignment just can't be done with any DTC's in the ECU. And I can't get this P1545 to go away for nothin. I'll have it VAGCOM'd tomorrow.

Problem completely resolved...Had a cool local guy came over and hooked it up to his VAGCOM. Scanned block 098, and we had trouble at first because the seat heaters were on drawing too much voltage, but once we turned those off and cleared the code, all was good and heard the TB aligning itself. Lesson learned and thanks to everyone who chipped in.
