Default Plugs, anyone actually going to 22ft lbs?

In put in some new plugs yesterday and was a bit sketchy on this. Is anyone going to 22 ft lbs?

On the back of the ngk box it said for the type that I had (crush ring style) to go hand tight + 1/2-2/3 turn and gapped at .032. The bentley says 22ft lb. By hand during the 2/3 follow up turn I could feel that washer getting squished and then at the end a noticable difference in tension when (i think) the washer reached it's limit.

For the first one I did I went hand tight and about 2/3 and then I put the TW on it and it went another 1/2 turn easily. I thought, sh*t this is too easy, I better quit before I strip it.

I did the rest at hand tight + 2/3.

I used a torque wrench the first time but just sorta WAG it now. I don't think the torque is super critical.
