Default Potential Problems with timing

So in the middle of this engine swap/rebuild, I'm going to replace my timing components, tensioner roller etc.. and I notice that the big oval looking eyelets that are supposed to be timing indicators on the cam-sprockets, aren't even close to being lined up... how do I get them in line without ******* up my valves?

Are the heads already bolted on?

Yeah they're on already, although I plan on pulling them off to do the head gaskets

So what's the problem? Pull them off, set everything to tdc and put it all back together. Don't lay the heads valve side down tho.
