Default Pre BAT setup

I thought I would post up a picture of a setup I am doing for a customer, he wanted to go GT2871r but still have the option to go GT30r later on without needing to change everything out again for all new pars.

So I suggested going GT2871 with a T3 exhaust housing on the Full-race manifold and here is a picture of that setup.

The setup also includes the Tial 44mm wg, SS braided oil/coolant lines with all the fittings, 3" down pipe and a dump tube kit for the Tial wg.

I wonder if he is still using stock internals with the GT2871r

i imagine they will needed to be upgraded before he swaps to something bigger?

I offer it as a full package for $3350 + shipping which is a little more then $200 off my site prices if bought 1 part at a time. Retail price for all the parts included in the package comes out to $3747.

Package includes
Full-race Manifold
GT2871r with T3 exhaust housing with 4 bolt outlet
3" down pipe with v-band flange at bottom
Tial 44mm WG
DIY WG dump tube kit
SS Braided Oil/Coolant line kit with all the fittings/adapters

The customer ordered a set of IE rods from me along with a long list of other parts all bought as a full package so he could get a very nice discount on all the parts which is what I offer to my customers. Other parts included a ER Comp FMIC kit and Bosch 044 drop-in fuel pump kit.

Not that I know of, best setup for the 2.8 is a 2.7tt swap. No reason for me to get into the BAT setups for the 2.7 since there are plenty of others already doing it.

i know there is a guy in my area that runs a BAT on his VR6 VW. He makes over 500whp. He burned up my friend in his tweaked out '88 m3.
