Ive got a 99.5 A4 1.8Quattro and im trying to take the stock wheels and tires off and going to a 17x8 rim with a 235/45/17 tires, am i going to have any problem with control arm clearance or any other types of clearance?

Totally depends on the offset of the new wheels.

 

i have that exact setup with a 35 offset and there is barely enough clearance between the tires and control arms. like they don't ever touch and i never have rubbing issues but i can't even get my pinky in there. i saw a picture of someone who was running 245's and i have no idea how he made them fit
