Pulsating "wub wub wub" sound coming from right rear

Justin - nice analogy about the coffee in the passenger's lap. Reminds me of this:
understeer is when the front of the car hits the fence
oversteer is when the rear of the car hits the fence
horsepower is how fast you hit the fence
torque is how far into the field you carry the fence
OP - wheel bearing kits (bearing and new end axle bolt - don't reuse the old bolt since the torque on it is huge and may fatigue it) cost me $56.11 shipped from germanautoparts.com. Just dropping off the car and picking it up repaired will run $250-300. I buy the bearing and bolt, remove the spindle, take it to a local shop, give the guy $20, and he presses out the old one and the new one in. I take the spindle home and reinstall it. Biggest two things for doing this:
1 - mark the eccentric bolt on the bottom of the spindle with a scribe line. That's your camber setting - when you reinstall it, line the marks up to preserve your camber. It is still good to get an alignment but this will help until you do that.
2 - don't try to remove the ABS sensor. It's not necessary and can result in destroying it. Pop off your rear seat cushion, unplug the sensor, feed it down through the chassis, and leave it all attached to the spindle. It won't be in the way or in any danger in the press.
