Default question abot maf?

is the a4 v6 and the a4 1.8t maf the same? i have a 2000 a4 1.8t and maf code keeps coming up saying signal too low. The junk yards around here only have v6 a4 no 1.8t al all. Thanks

Stick with the maf for your 1.8. 2.8s are different. I would also check around the maf and intake boot for any cracks. I ended up having to clean and replace the maf plus clean the idle control valve and throttle body. It only threw the maf code once and never popped back up. Imo our mafs are weak and it should be a mandatory maintenance routine to clean them plus your icv and throttle body.

running a larger maf will lower the g/s reading and completely change the a/f ratio which would suck. Just replace the maf
