Default Question about fog lights in Facelift DEPO Chromes

WARNING: STUPID SOUNDING QUESTIONS BELOW

So ive had some facelift depo chromes installed in my 98 a4. i wired up the high and lows with H7 bulbs no problem. but there are 2 other connectors in the inner bulb harnesses.

one has a single slot entry for a bulb (not 2, like the high and low beam bulbs) and another thing, whatever this bulb it is, it "fits" in a hole in between the high and low beam. there is just a hole for the bulb to go through.no wire clips like the high and low beams. how does that work? just stick it in and hope it stays still. i tried fitting an H1 bulb (a single slot bulb) in there but it seemed too small. my guess was that this was the fog light because i don't have use of my fog lights anymore.

second, the second of the 2 leftover connectors is a white rectangular shaped fuse looking thing. almost like it hooks up into a computer or a hard drive. no clue what that is....

green circles are the connectors and the blue arrow points to the hole without any wiring clamps that every other bulb has. searched for over 2 hours online and all i hear are people saying H7 bubs for everything, which kept throwing me off.

ty for all your help in advance.

The second one (the white computer looking one) is a connection for factory HID's. So it won't affect anything for you not having it hooked up. I don't know what the other one is for though.

i would really appreciate that. ty for that. also, does the bulb just slot into that hole or i there a clamp supposed to be there to hold the bulb down like the high and low beam bulb metal clamps.

If I remember right it's a 168 wedge-base bulb. I put them in mine and hooked them up and they looked horrible. Zero light output and it glowed the housings a sickly yellowish color like you'd see on a nearly-burned out halogen headlight. My HIDs made them look even worse. Skip 'em.

Jeremy - should've gotten the LED/white bulb for the DRL.
Granted they aren't bright in any way but IMO it looks nice if you have them on in the afternoon.
