Hmm never knew 3000k was illegal, but i have 10k"s in my sonata projectors they look fine and give more then enough output for me , it has 3000k in the fogs too. Also same setup on the pathfinder.

I think im just gonna do 3000k fogs for now and leave the projectors for now.

What do you guys think of doing green hids in the fogs. Too ricer-ish? I think it would look nice because you never see it.

 

HID fogs are fine, plenty of people here run them. Just make sure the housings are glass so they don't melt.

 

You don't see green because a) they're tacky and b) it's illegal to have anything other than white or amber ahead of the front axle.

 

I'm doing purple fogs. Ladies flop when they see purple.

Imthedevil - Yeah im just going with 3000k in the fogs, and i dont think cops bug people for lights around here, i never once had a problem.

Also are clear corners with white bulbs for the turn signals "illegal"?

 

Technically signals are supposed to be "amber" but I've ran the clear (yellow) ones in the E-Codes for a while and never got any problem for it.

They also have the painted amber ones. Basically they look chrome/clear but they will glow amber.

 

Yeah i have clear corners and white bulbs in my pathfinder, sat across from cops with my turn signal on many times. I dont think they care about petty crap like that around here.

Lol - I dont think they mind if your ride is done up nice, but i do know they are like anti - ricer civic around here. Recently was in a shopping center one time by my car and there was a cop and some kid fired up his ricer civic with those awful coffee can exhausts and the cop went over. It was pretty funny.
