Quick Fog LIght Question
I want to upgrade my fog lights to hid to match my headlights. I have vvme already and going to get a second for the fogs. my question is that my fogs are in the headlight assembely. How hard is this to do... its been a while since i did the headlights. any advice?

Piece of cake. They're also an H7 bulb. Just put the HID bulbs into the fog slot like you did the headlights, connect them to the new ballasts like you did the headlights, and turn them on. The install and function is identical.

Actually my car is pre-facelift, but I got the Depo two-piece projectors and a set of OEM facelift fogs and fit them to my car. But yes, you can convert the facelift fogs as well, but there' s a little more work to do. The bulbs in the facelift fogs are completely closed inside the housings and the wire connectors go from the bulbs to the external plug connector on the outside of the housing. What you'd have to do is drill out a hole in the rear of the fog housing large enough to pass the HID cabling through, connect it to the HID bulb, and then plug the HID cables into the OEM fog harness. It's not that it'd be harder, just a little more time-consuming. You should see that coming on my car soon actually

Well the fog lamps are what they are - it's not really a projector though, so to have a projector fog light you're going to have to get a set of projector fogs (or projectors that you can make into fogs) and install them with the HIDs. There's no other real way around that.

Might want to verify to be sure. The pre-facelift cars (at least mine) had an H7 in the headlight-mounted fog location. I'm pretty sure my facelift fogs (which I fitted to the car) use H7s also, although I haven't looked at the bulbs since I installed them.
