Quick Question...
OK...I've got a 2000 A4 2.8 Quattro Manual with factory HID's that need adjusting bad. The problem started when I first bought the car. I first noticed them dipped straight down, so I immediately adjusted them with the white adjusters....didn't really help much. I later noticed, when doing my brakes, that these cars have a little arm on the front driver side suspension that auto levels the headlights...Well, that little arm was broken. Through my searches, I realize that you have to use the vagcom to aim the headlights. Now, my headlights are way out of wack. My question is, after fixing the level sensing arm, can the ebay cable with the free download do this task, or will I have to buy the full version from rosstech? Anybody have an idea on what the dealer would charge to do this?
Thanks
Thanks
I dunno, but my 2000 headlights aim low too, even with the original H7 halogens. I installed the xenon HIDs aftermarket...brighter, but the alignment is still low. Where is the leveling arm? Can you get a pic of it, and do the 1.8T versions have that too?
Only the ones with factory hid's have the auto leveling...I'll try to post up a pic when it's light outside
