I already asked a question about the dash (completely gave up on me - no speedo, tach, and other guages; flashing oil light when foot is on gas (turns off at cruise). However now i am starting to doubt the cooling system. First of all the radiator seems to be spinning at half the original speed. I can see the sticker on one of its blades. Spinning at maybe 60-100 rpm (how does that sound?). Also i noticed that the hose leading to the coolant tank is really hot as is the cooling tank itself. I am not sure what temp it should be but it felt like a little too much for me. The ac also stopped working. All together i have a bunch of problems and a 250 mile trip to Penn State to start school tomorow. Will i make it? The car sounds and drives absolutely fine. The only thing scaring me is the dash and the blinking oil light on it. The car was throwing the 18010 code which came up after i disconnected the battery but hasnt come back up after the comp was reset... Its my second week with the audi (98.5 2.8 Quat) and i don't know all of the nuances of this car... be it my old maxima everything would be simpler...
