I checked the fueses and it's all ok. Sometimes when I'm driving and listening to the radio/cd/tape it will power off for no reason. Even if I press the power button it won't come back on until it feels like it. Sometimes it come on in a few secs, sometimes 30 mins and sometime an hour.

Has anyone run into this problem before?

I have an hour commute and I need to get this fix!!! =)

It means you need a new radio, you can get a re-manned unit for about $300 at the dealer.

 

or you have a bad ground somewhere or it being shorted out my aftermarket radio did the same thing and i rewired everything and it never did it again

 

No, the stock radios are known to turn on and off like that. Factory wiring won't ground out.

 

I will sell you one from a 1998 for $100 w/ changer if it will work for you....
