Default Rear Brake Noise

Mine is an A4-B5 2000, 1.9 TDi, Diesel, Tiptronic Gear Box. AJM .
When the car is stopped I get this squeaking sound from the rear brakes when the brakes are released, when somebody gets in or out of the car. It is pretty annoying and some of my friends even laugh at it. Well none of them have an AUDI. He! He!
I once used brake quit lubricant which is applied between the rear of the pad and the caliper. It worked fine for 3-4 days and the noise is back.
Any suggestions please.

I am having the same issue after having changed the rotor and pads. Still trying to figure out how to fix it. Don't want to stop at the dealers because they will hammer me again with huge bills.

You mean it squeaks as you release the brake, or there is a continuous squeaking while the brakes are not applied? If it the former, then I would buy some brake lube and apply it to the slider brackets. This will require pulling the wheel off and removing the caliper from the carrier.

yes check your brake caliper sliders , might need a bit of grease ,
as a matter of interest what pads you used,

i had a squeek on a previous car that was so annoying and it turned out it was the ebc greenstuff pads causing it.
