Rear caliper (still) frozen / stuck in

I also have a question. My offside rear wheel is slightly stiff to turn and I suspect it is because of a partially seized caliper. I plan to strip it down and have a look, however in my haynes manual (which is really needed Bryso21) it says that the 'guide pins' must be replaced. How necessary is this? They look like just a bolt. I hardly want to go to an Audi dealer to arrange a special order. Thanks

Was doing my rear brakes this week and had the exact same problem,
1. Stuck Caliper pin
2. Inner pads were worn to the metal, outer was okay worn just half the way.
I just replaced the pins and the boot with these parts from ECSTuning and Autozone -
