oem replacements are expensive and not worth the price IMHO.
I had the same problem, so I bought the cheapest 6" mid range (1 way) speakers I could find (that still had good build materials - IE:not paper cones/woofers).
Get the lowest RMS rated Poly/Injection molded speakers you can find. Low RMS because they'll be 4 ohm, when stock is 2 ohm. This way you'll get the closest you can get to stock levels and lose the least amount of output (don't worry, they won't blow). Poly/Injection molded for best quality for your $. (Check eBay)
My setup sounds great and I'm approximately $15 and 20 minutes invested - total.
