i have a 97 audi a4 1.8, it has after market rear lights i was driving home today and a guy pulled up at the side ov me and says that my brake lights are flashing when the indicator and brake are on at the same time. has any 1 had this issue before?

 

That's a pretty weird one. I'd suspect the aftermarket lights, or the wiring someone did to get them to work. When they flash, does the hight brake light flash too? If not, you can rule out the switch on the brake and concentrate on the wiring back there.

 

no the middle brake light dosnt flash so like you said must be the wiring in the lights them selfs
