I know this is a rather documented problem. The LED display in the dash (instrument panel) goes out and has missing lines for a lot of peoples A4. My question is did anyone find a solution to fixing or replacing this LED display other than paying out the *** for it by taking to to the Audi dealer.

And i read somewhere on this forum about someone who was fixing it for around $100 but i can't find it and there wasn't any confirmation about it.
