Default Resetting brake pad warning light?

How do you reset the brake pad warning light? I had the brakes checked and they are fine now I can't get the freaking light off. Blessings.

You had the brakes checked? or changed? My light was on and when I changed them the light went away. OR, it could be that the wire was torn off like my passenger side brake pad was.

Also, when did this happen? Are you the one that put these pads on last? Did they have the brake wear sensor wire attached to the pads?

Do you have VAG-COM by chance? There may be a way to reset that in there. The only other thing I can think of, is what IanWPB mentioned about the sensor wire being pulled out of one of the front pads.

I took it to a local shop who said the brakes were fine. I have not done anything with them. Where is the brake fluid reservoir at?
