I have a 1999.5 Audi A4 Quattro. My power locks never worked and just recently my alarm stopped working and my dome lights stopped coming on when the doors open. I went to the nearest junk yard and found a locking pump with the same connections just a different part #. I pulled it from what I think was an Avant. My pump and connector were both fried so I took the avant connectorand pump and put it in mine. Now everything works except my remote which I'm guessing I just have to program it but I don't have a second key. And the lights don't flash when I arm the alarm with the key. But my main issue is that almost exactly ten minutes after starting the car all of the locks unlock and the dome lights turn on and a few minutes later the alarm goes off until I get out the car and lock the car with the key. Could this be some kind of immobilizer. Any suggestions?
