rough cold starts after TB job
so i got the timing belt job done about 3 weeks ago, and ever since, the cold starts in the morning have been producing a real rough idle. itll jump to about 1200, then slowly settles down, but while its settling down theres a considerable amount of shaking in the 1200-900 range. there arent any other problems, except for a CEL that i have for the secondary air pump (which is associated with cold starts, i know, but thats been on before the TB job and i havent had this issue before so im thinking its not that).
i read a post a couple days back about recalibrating the throttle body or something every time the battery is disconected? maybe this wasnt done and is the problem?
the last couple days it even sputtered the first time it turned over and died- as if there wasnt enough fuel, but the second time i turned it over it started perfectly..
anyways i dont think its a huge issue, the car runs perfectly besides this- any help??

Yes, that was me.
Make sure engine is OFF!
Open vagcom, go to engine, meas. blocks, type in Group 098, press Go.
Press default values, it should now realign.
If it does not, unplug throttle sensor, plug back in, switch ignition off and on again, try again in vagcom.

and i dont have the vagcom software/cable, just the OBDII scanner. anyone in the SF bay area that would be willing to give me a hand??
