300 is do-able (no with the diode mod tho) The one thing I would stress is to make sure your timing belt has been done. If it goes, so does your valves! And as you can see the "bov" topic will always be one people are up in arms over. If you are serious about 300hp talk to Mike, he posted in this thread earlier, he own ringer-racing.com very legit guy!

Just because it isn't what you guys would do, doesn't mean its wrong.
You and this post are teh failz. Both of the threads you linked were written by the same user and are ALMOST A DECADE OLD. The former refers to running BOV's (the plural is important) on a K04'd track-only S4, because the amount of boost they were running pushed too much air for diverter valves to handle. This car would have to be tuned accordingly. The latter is full of disclaimers and warnings that you might throw codes when running vented instead of recirc. This information is in no way useful to the discussion being had in this thread. Do not pass go, do not collect $200.

Anywho, OP, you mentioned the diode mod, but I'm pretty sure that only works on the '01s. I can't remember if that's what you have, and I'm too lazy to go back and check. Your sig doesn't specify either.

300 is attainable with a little help from Mike (whom I previously referred to as the Mike) and a few grand. Go to ringer-racing.com and check your the GTRS Elim kit. It comes with everything you need to get close to what you're looking for, for just shy of $3K. Add in a high flow manifold, HFC, cat back, and FMIC, and you're there...

All you need is time, and money...

Yeah the diode is on 01+ cars. Earlier car's don't have the MAP sensor on the intercooler
