So I've been considering an S4 bumper (primarily front, but considering front and rear, depending on prices) for my B5 and I just had a couple quick questions. First, is where could I find one and about how much I should expect to pay? I'm sure there are internet sites that sell them like candy so does anyone know of a reliable one that delivers quality products and is reasonably priced? Also, how does the compatability work? I have a 1998 2.8 5 speed that is currently all stock so what year S4 bumper would I have to try to get my hands on? Does the year have to match exactly or could I get a different year so long as its still a B5 year? I'd like to get a newer year, say a 2003 or 2004, but my intuition tells me that would most likely not work too well. And finally, matching the paint: would I just have to take it to a body shop and have them match it or would whatever intarweb site I purchase it from be able to match it via VIN and paint it before shipping? Believe it or not i couldent find an S4 bumper anywhere online after i bottomed out and wanted to upgrade. Junkyard is your best bet as far as i know. It is said that the dealership can give one for a good price but i got raped with some crzy number witch i believe was in the 600-700 bill range. I ended up going with an RS4 Rep. from esetuning.com great guys working other there. I think the bumper was $529 without fogs. Paint cost me $250 cash but the guy was doing me a favor. Should really be around $300+. I havent got my bumper back but the guy says hes gonna look up the paint and get me the origional color. Hope to dear lord this thing looks good on my Esabell. (That sweet back *** a' her's)...

What year bumper is it? Is it off a 98 RS4 or is it a later year?

 

The B5 S4 bumper will fit ur car as for the RS4 bumper only a replica bumper will fityour car the actual oem RS4 bumper wont fit cause its a widebody bumper check out http://www.lltek.com/they got a few diffrent good quality kits for the b5
