Default S4 rear bumper

I found one for $400 shipped. Matches my paint. Has the lower lip. Has normal scratches and stuff but no dings or dents. Is it worth it?

Yes im aware but I cant paint. I can fix stuff but painting and body work are not on my list of abilities. Unless someone wants to help me out if i buy the paint and beer. I want it to look nice.

You can use the Duplicolor silver (it matches the facelift silver) or have a shop mix some basecoat LY7W Audi paint, put it in aerosol cans, and give you clear coat in cans. There's nothing to it. Mask it off when it's clean and dry, give it two coats of adhesion promoter, two of fuller primer, then several of paint and clear. Move your arm steadily, and spray light coats. That's all there is to it.

Once it's cured a few days, wet sand with ultra fine grit and buff it. I did my lowers this way - see sig for results.

A bumper to be repainted will probably cost you cheaper.

Don't buy that.

Paint the rear valance yourself - anyone can do it.

Spend the money on S4 side skirts and front bumper. No point in wasting money on the rear bumper since it's the same thing.

I got two cans of silver, two clear coats, and 1 adhesion promoter along with primer pictured above. Do i have to sand before adhesion coat or just clean first?

Clean it up nicely.. No point in sanding it before, it's textured so I don't think it'll do much good.

Spray the adhesion promotor, sand, filler primer, it helps to fill the textured parts better, sand, then go from there.

Follow the DIY that's floating around the forums. I think it's on audidiy.com. If not just google it and you should find it.
