definetly not the same, the 1 can in the tank cleans the fuel system and 1/3 int eh oil clean out the interanls while the 2/3 through the vacs cleans teh upper cylinder and valves. ive dont this on my car, my buddies audi 90, bmw X5, 300m and dodge caravan. and we all agree that it makes a world of difference. when we did the oil change ont eh 300m we actually got chunks or crud comming out.

Wouldn't Gumout do the same thing if not a better job than Seafoam for the fuel system? Could I just use half a can of Seafoam for the intake and half a can for the oil then use Gumout for the gas tank? Also, is there any specific time that's best to add it to your oil? I'm going to do an oil change in about 1000 miles.

My car has 128,000 miles, is this too many to use Seafoam on the intake? what about using it on the oil?
