I've noticed this for a while but never decided to ask till now. My cars temperature reading seems to always be at this level



The picture above was taken after about 3 hours of driving, some hard driving involved as well and well the temperature seems to max out at were it is above. The photo above is on an angle and the temp is actually between the 2nd and 3rd bar. The most I've ever seen the temp go was just above the 3rd bar and this was on a very hot day with several hours of driving, sensor issue? or is the engine in such good condition haha.

 

It could be the gauge or the sensor but most probable and common is the sensor.

 

yeah most likely, I will take it to a friend to have it checked.

 

Even on the hottest of days I never really saw my oil temp get much higher than the 3rd mark

 

Looks normal to me.
