1996 Audi A4 2.8 SOHC quattro auto
ECU: Hitachi 8D0 906 266B

There are 4 (the 5th is O2 I think) sensor on the firewall, driver side (see photo).
Can someone please ID them for me?

1st (grey): flywheel/engine speed/speed???
2nd (black): crank position sensor ???
3rd (white): ???
4th (blue): ????

Which is for the cam sensors (driver side, passenger side cyl head)?

Also: By unplugging them and cranking, will VAGcom show me codes?
Also: Can VAGcom show values (either with Key On or while cranking) values for those? I want to check the sensor and the communication with VAGcom

 

These are the connectors on the passenger side firewall.
Can someone name/label them for me?
One of the I assume is the passenger side cam sensor plug, right?
And one is the passenger side O2 sensor plug

Yup. Looks like it. Still hope to make progress in the troubleshooting until it arrives.

What are the best sources?

Does it cover all B6 A4 (various engines, transmissions) from 1996-2001?
