Serious Transmission Issues... PLEASE HELP>> I"M GOING BROKE!!!!
Hey guys!
i drive a 2003 Audi A4 1.8T
and right before christmas my car started doing a strange stutter around 1800 and 2000 rpms.
it was only happening when i drove slow, if i Reved it up, and mashed it out, it was fine..
so i went to tha Dealershipt (here in Shreveport, La) and they said it was my Throttle Body.
so i replaced it... and i still had the problem.
so then they told me it was my Valve Body on my Transmission... that was costly!
so i got tha money out of my savings and paid for it..
oh, and by tha way, i still had to apy for tha Throttle Body, "Cause they accidently threw my old one away" ... ********!
so i got it all fixed, and it drove fine... but i felt a small putter every once in a while... i complained, but they said it was expected.
so a month passes, and my car starts misfiring BAD!!
i bring it in, they tell me i have a coil pack out..
i replace it.
they're about $200 a piece. (i had one go out on me back in September, and you guys helped me out)
and then a week later it happens again...
i bring it in, and they say its a different coil pack caused by an oil leak from some valve..
i tell them to fix the oil leak, and replace tha coil pack... so now i've replaced coil pack 1,2 and 3!
THE VERY NEXT DAY!!!
my Check engine light comes on..
the code says i'm running lean, and i notice a real rough sputter in my rpms in that 1700 - 2200 range.. (only when i drive slow)
oh, an my car doesn't start good.
i knew it wasn't my starter, cause it was turning the car on, but it was almost like i had bad compression, and it would just die..
so usually it took 3 times for my car to finally start, and stay started...
they hook me up to a smoke machine, because when your running too lean they said its a leak somewhere, and thats why my check engine light was on..
they tell me i have a leak in my Crank Case Vent Valve.
they said that should fix all 3 of my problems.. Bad starting, Check engine light, and engine sputter when driving.
so i fix it.. cost me another $300
i get it back, drive it 60 miles, to even out the fuel to air ratio, or something like that.
my check engine light hasn't came back on, but my car doesn't start all tha time, and my sputtering is getting worse!
and i also noticed that when it sputters when i drive, the next time i go to start it, it doesn't wanna stay started..
i bring it back, and tell them WTF!!!
they tell me its my "Clutch Packs" in my transmission, and told me its like 5k to fix it..
WTF WTF WTF ??
then they tell me this was probably my initial problem.. but they had to "go by the book" and replace my Throttle Body, and Valve Body which cost me around $2,300!!

i don't know what to do.
i love tha way my car looks. but i dont' know what to do.
also.
just before my initial engine sputter, my girlfriend ran over a concrete parking stopper (those things that you park in front of in parking lots)
my car is pretty low, and she couldn't back off it cause it would've ripped off my body kit.. so i told her to just gas it on out, and go over it.. (she called me, she said the car was already half way over it, and just resting on it..)
so, could there be something just physically damaged?
that could cause this problem.
also my car still does this sputtering when i place it into triptronic and manually shift..
i told the dealer about her running over it, and they said there was no damage...
PLEASE HELP!!! PLEASE!!!!
