Default Should I be concerned?

Hey guys, I'm new the community here you seem like a helpful bunch of guys so I'd figure I'd ask you guys a question or two before i do anything.
Alright on to the problem..... On my way home today I noticed a "swooshing" sound coming front the driver side of the engine whenever I got on the gas a little hard. At first I thought it might be the AC since it sounded like it was coming from the vent in the cabin but after turning off the AC it still made the sound. I dont have a CEL but if you have any input, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Do you have a boost gauge? If so what was the boost levels under accel. Go to autozone and get your codes checked.

I do not have a boost gauge, it is on my to do list however. After a quick little drive the CEL is now on so I shall go and get my ECU scanned.

I have the same code. When you start your car after its been sitting a while does it sound like a vacuum? its likely that your Secondary Air Pump is dying. Its for emmissions so if you live in a state the doesnt require emmissions i wouldnt worry about it.

It sounds normal, just idles around 1200rpm for a couple minutes but I assume that is normal. Well it just passed emmissions so I'm good for another 2 years.
