I've been around here a bit and decided I should introduce myself. I'm Ty and I attend school in NC, otherwise I live in MA. I drive a stock Volcano Mica Black 1999.0 A4 2.8L fishbowl with sports package and a euro trunk. I would definitely like to lower it, replace those nasty headlights (still deciding) and add a deeper exhaust note, but in due time. She's a little dinged up from a previous owner, but I try to keep her clean for the most part...

Welcome to the forums. The chrome lower grill looks nice, I did the same mod to my car.

 

dam! i love those fogs! was there a package online for them or just any led strip?

 

I still dunno how I feel about doing the lower LED fogs like the Mercs have. I really gave it some thought too before going S5 style.

As for the LEDs, I bought them off ebay. Just search "r8 style led" and look for a 30cm strip. Nothing complicated, just two strips on each side, I wouldn't exactly call them fogs though. They don't show well in bright light, but after 5pm they're pretty sharp.

I've only recently seen the Mercs with them

 

I went this route, but I was thinking of getting the LED strip like you have and running it right next to the center of the fog lamp when it's on, thought it might look cool. Gotta picture it in your head.
