RE: smoke! all colors.
so your check engine light is on? if it is you need to go see what codes its throwing cuz it sounds like your having one or more misfire and are now in limp mode.
ps - i would keep to yourself how fast you go on the highway, it is a pretty dumb thing to do and everyone here will make sure you know that.

limp mode makes it so your turbo doesn't get any boost to the engine so you don't FUBAR your nice Audi.
and Im thinking it's probably a combo of gaskets too, and possibly a missfire

yes its on and flashing when it bogs out.
i like to drive slow to save gas but once i get on iti stay on it. imonly 17 haha
wouldnt it overheat if it was my head gasket.
it use to smoke before white smoke and i went to kragen and bought some head gasket repair and dumped that in and then the smoke went away.
could it have came back?
ive been running rich for a while but it never really smoked,

coil packs are those things that sit above your spark plugs, they act as a distributor on the 1.8t, which we are all assuming you have.
Edit_______
well sounds like your gasket's are leaking, plus you probably have some bad coilpacks
here is what I would do...
1) not drive tomorow, oh well on day won't kill you. My car sits at home while I am here at college and I'm still alive.
2) Run a diagnostic again and see if you can get anything else besides an error message, (try using a Vag-Com (Audi/VW secific diagnostic tool) if you can find one)
3) Start looking for parts
4) replace parts either yourself or by a shop
5) enjoy your better Audi after you fix it all
No matter what you are without a car for a bit, sorry to say, but it's the only way to make sure you don't totally F%<K up your Audi.
