my car sounds like it is relesing boost some where and only for a short time and then stops it has only happend three times in the past two months and only happens when the car is cold. I have a turbo smart DV that I need see if it may be sticking but any othere ideas would help alot thanks.
PS. I dont have a boost gauge.

 

I would buy a boost gauge. That's the best way to see if your boost is actually fluctuating when you think it is.

 

it hard to diagnose a problem if you cant see it and dont know if its actualy there.
