yeah im not saying dont do it, they have far more good reviews then bad ones, but i just feel i gotta let people know that sometimes they send out a crappy tune, and the only thing you can do about it is to show up at speedtuning. he wont take them back over the phone, and he said the only thing he can do is re-tune it when i decide to go BT(fat effin chance im gunna try that one) the thread i started was called 'WTF...8lbs chipped' just search for it im sorry i gotta go to class.

i love how every speedtuning car is running so differently. people are ranging from 8-23 psi, and still no one has dyno'd theirs yet. its a good option if your poor or cheap but just doesn't seem reliable.

also people need to stop saying it $125. its not. that was at first to gain business. with shipping your looking at ~200 and your gona have downtime on your car and your taking a slight risk. a dbc chip from the 3 big companies is only 400 now. its worth the extra money.

thanx choas. im definitly gunna go with the big company buy. since i do have the money and need a realiable chip. 8psi-23psi range = horrible. i'd rather get a giac and have fer sure 18-19psi.

k thanx. if anyone else has anything to say, please have no hesitation to say it.

you can still buy their tune off of eBay for 125

I sent my spare ecu out, hopefully I end up with an awesome tune....I'll make a 0-60 vid when I get it back, but the closest 4 wheel dyno is about 3 hours away...and I really don't want to make the effort or time to see a 25whp increse...lol

well, everyone cross your fingers and knock on wood!...please!

I'll keep everyone up to date! I should have it back by thursday or friday....

and just to let everyone know, I am on my third defective autometer boost guage (sportcomp II), so I ordered a VDO today and I will get that tomorrow....

just a heads up on autometer, they make some fu<ked up noises!....oh well, if anyone wants a sportcomp II, I'll let it go for $10

If you are talking about buzzing, they make a fitting for that

no, it's not the basic buzzing, its like a jarring clatter/cackle under boost or sudden vac

I had that stupid buzzing, but then I just set-up a nice brass T and the buzzing went away and then a loud sh!tty noise came a bit later, I think it's just a bad batch that the local autoparts store has...

tomorrow I will put my VDO in and I hope to report silent perfection....I'll let everyone know how it goes

he has a 98.5, it's below the avatar.
BTW, no noises at all coming from the autometer ultra-lite boost gauge.

^good to know...I think the problem is only with the sportcomp II, I stupidly threw away the box and packing, so all i can do is trade the guage for the exact same guage

I have done the no buzz T, and that killed the buzz, but a much worse sound followed, so I plugged the hole in the back with silicone, hoping that would help, and it did a bit...my guage is lame and innacurate....autometer in my experience has been a bit hit or miss, I am glad yours is working out okay...the one in my car right now is givving me innacurate readings, so I figured I would just go for a VDO guage, which'll be nice since it'll light up red w/ the interior (the one I have in right now lights up white, looks good during the daytime tho)

besides the fact that the face of yours is silver, our guages look identical to me....

are you running an MBC or an N75 race?...kinda worried about spiking w the chip...

I have the same and no problems either. My only problem is the 20psi limit on mine
