the autometer I currently have is a 30/30 and the VDO I am gettin is a 25/30...20 is definately a littly low


cincy, aren't you building your 1.8 to a 2.0, or at least going for some new internals and such?...think I remeber you mentioning something about your car in pieces and an eventual t3/t4 maybe?...could be mistaken tho

 

Yes im currently building a 2.0. The plans were a t3t4 50trim before the build, but now that i will have a built motor i have decided to go with a gt3082r .63. Its the same turbin as a gt3071/76 and compressor as a gt35r and gt4082r. Should make 450whp on pump easy and close to 500whp with w/m injection when all is said and done. Needless to say i will need ATLEAST 35psi gauge if not 40

35 psi will be nuts!...are you building a sleeper or are you guna be tracking it?

The car is still apart. I have a fwd car. Will be somewhat stockish but a drop and wheels. Its being built for a highway monster and my enjoyment. There is a build up thread in the TT section but its dead since im having problems with my "builder".

Goal is 2600-2650lbs and 450whp on pump. Should make a 11sec car on street tires.

I could see you on the freeway downshifting into 3rd and spinnin the tires a bit...lol

11 sec. street car is prolly too much for me, although I can't say that every once and a while I don't wish I had that kind of power

well, hopefully your car gets back together soon enough....

so is the motor comletely back together, or is it still in pieces?....a built 2.0 with a stock turbo and the diode mod would be really funny

what cc file are you guna run with? the ctapp 630?
