I think this is new to winter but I can't say for sure - nowadays when I start my car up there is some sort of squeak from the engine at idle like a belt or something, but once the car warms up it goes away. Suggestions?

 

It's probably a belt. Try some Belt-eze. (sp?) You can get it at Wal-Mart...it's made by Prestone. Start the car and spray some onto the belts. Try to get it on the inside of the belts. That's the cheapest and easiest troubleshooting to start with.
