Default Starter removing

Anyone know how to remove a B5 Starter? I took off the front end, then the alternator. I got the lower bolt off of the starter too with a long extension. But the top doesn't have a nut, it's just a long bolt and even if it did there's no way to reach in there. There's no space to get anything in there. 2 bolts my ***. this is a b#@% and my book doesn't have a good diagram.

idk about a 2.8, but when i did my 1.8 clutch job, there were 2 long bolts than ran through it into the trans, then theres a bracket thats almost impossible to get to that bolts on the back of the starter and goes into the trans as well

I got the bottom bolt off using a long extension and 5/8 socket, but the top one is in reverse or something. There isn't a nut on it and I don't think the holes in the starter are threaded so I'm not sure what's still holding it in place without a nut there.
