steering damper?

how do i tell if my rack has a damper or not? its a 99.5 1.8tqm need to get one started to leak...

It's never been included on any of the racks I've replaced. We always just swapped it on from the bad rack - it's external to the rack, bolted on top.

make sense i guess i just saw them with and without so i thought maybe different models came with them and some didnt.
