How do i know if my car has side curtain airbags? I looked in the owners manual and it showed a little emblem saying airbag. I dont see one but also dont want to think i dont have them and actually do. Its a 2000 a4 1.8t quattro.

 

look on the side of your seat. is there a small fabric tag stitched into the seam that either says "SRS" or "AIRBAG" on it?

 

Yeah im pretty sure it does. I cant go look now cuz its being fixed at the moment. I want to get a dual a pillar gauge mount. Will this really interfere? The maker says not to use it in side curtain equipped vehicles

 

if the airbag goes then your gauges will go flying into your face

 

Ahh, i see. Didnt realize they went all the way down the a pillar.
