Default subtle thud?

Forgive me guys, but i haven't driven stick shift in a while.

I've noticed a small thud when i take my foot off the gas when around 3200 rpms in 5th gear. Is this a sign of something going wrong with the transmission? Or is it merely the gears winding down without gas?

What could it be? It makes me nervous because i just bought the car and didnt notice it when i test drove it!

Panic?

Possible worn mount - unloading the engine will cause it to rock and with worn mounts you may get noises. I'd suspect the snub mount first since its job is to control engine rock.

Audi B5 A4 Quattro 1.8T > Drivetrain > Mounts > ES#429460 Snub Mount - 8D0199339P

One of these?

Or engine mounts?

I wanna replace this asap before a serious problem develops.

edit:

This one is better

Could also be the rear diff mount if it's coming from the back, it's a really common sound in cars with a rear diff. In fact every german car around this age that I've driven or been driven in has it to an extent.
