Sadly I won't make it in the b5 cuz it won't quite be ready by then, but at least the head is in the machine shop at the moment. Not sure id go without my audi either, wouldn't be the same.

 

Beau, don't let that stop you - these meets are far more about the people than the cars. Besides, Zach and Pat came in a Focus and were welcomed - no reason not to make the drive in anything else that you have

 

BTW as for the parts-swapping at the meet, those of you who have been here know I have a bunch of stuff in boxes in my garage. I also have a prime condition set of facelift-shaped B5 door mirrors (glass and backers only, not housings). They have no burns or brown spots, no cracks or scratches, they're heated, and they're blue-finish antidazzle. Probably tough to find them and they're $377 EACH at the local dealer. Obviously I'm not trying to make money like that but since I have pre-facelift mirrors, these don't fit. They're available if someone needs or wants a set.

 

I'll be bringing my parts too but since I traded my Audi in I'm sorta lookin' for cash.

 

Hey bud I have a pair of S4 mirror housing in silver color. If you want they are yours... Put your mirrors in and you have a complete assembly

 

13 days guys! We're almost there. I wanted to mention also, if any of you guys are shooting for a custom exhaust soon, buy your muffler now (and resonator if you want - I would) and bring them. I'll bring you over to a local place that does kickass work and can build your system in an hour or so. They're doing mine this Friday for $150 including pipe construction, materials, and labor. I'm handing them the resonator and Magnaflow to install. Very good opportunity to get it done well for not a lot of money.

 

Oh and we are working on a little something for the meet that'll raise the kick-***-ness a few levels. If it works out, you're gonna love it Nick, it is NOT transsexual Taiwanese callboys. Sorry bro
