Summer NY Meet feeler thread =)
Aw Nick, don't hate. You're missing a good one. Everyone made it (although Zach and Pat rolled in after 2am). Good first night. Getting the cobwebs cleared out and gonna go pull some parts in a little bit, then it's tech time (read: beer and wrenches) before drunken volleyball, photo shoot, more beer, BBQ, beer, maybe a local car show, and yet more beer...
Yeah that's the one. It'll be going on tonight. Not sure if we're going or not but I'll let you know. If not, we'll be at the park. Buzz me once you're done and I can tell you where we are.
Good Morning EVERYONE
WHAT A WEEKEND
I am so glad I got a chance to come out for the whole weekend finally and get a chance to meet a lot of new faces.
Andrew, Cory, Tim,Jerry and foocus guy(sorry did not catch your name)
For those who couldnt make it this time i have 3 simple words to say YOU MISSED OUT.
Possibly the best weekend I had this year filled with a lot of food, beer, laughter, wrenching, sun and endless epic quotations by AF group.
I would like to thank Jeremy,Erik,Tim,Andrew,Cory,Dave for taking their time on saturday and getting down and dirty to help me with my AUX pump. We did a number on that SOB! Not a single drop has been lost since. Mission accomplished.
Bill thank YOU for letting us use your tools and your garage for the job. The way it turned out we wouldnt of done it without your place.
Andrew whatever you did cleaning all the parts up somehow gave me extra MPG. I went from averaging 15-17mpg to 22-25mpg all the way home. I say this is pretty damn impressive. Once I seafoam it and fix the IAT cable i am sure i can see increase in those numbers again. S4 is alive again and I loved driving it home without thinking about overheating again.
Overall the weekend was full of EPICNESS and couldnt have been done without our old farts. Keith Bill Jeremy
Thanks to you guys we are able to do these type of things few times a year now.
To all that representing my LEDs and HIDs I want to say THANK YOU! We were able to convert Andrews entire car to LED and HID (HID job was done at 4am while everyone was sleeping so noone seen it lol). Chris full interior minus MAP(we will fix that) D2S upgrade and reverse. Tim's reverse on his G8 monster. Erik on his classy A4. Dave's green mean machine and corys 2.7 allroad. Thank You All.
I am sorry i had to leave in the middle of the night so for those who does not have my contact number or email

This was honest to god the funniest goddamn weekend I can remember being part of. Spent pretty much all Saturday laughing my *** off, whether at the volleyball game from hell (as Chris said, the inventor of the game is rolling in his grave), Dave and his antics, Joon's accusations of hate crimes, the white duck and Dave's stories of passing out in the Holland Tunnel, Chris and his stories of walking home drunk through MS13 territory, Erik's gastric distress during the R&R of Emil's afterrun coolant pump, Tim's monster G8 GXP challenging a tubbed 72 Nova and picking on the Ford Ranger, the gay cowboy, you name it. This ******* weekend absolutely crushed all past meets by a mile. Emil, glad we got your car up in shape again, and thanks for the LED reverse lights - they're sick. You guys who still have stock bulbs inside your cars, in the plates and in the reverse lights, hit up Emil at the above info or on his site (Krauto Parts) and get your LEDs. The improvement is crazy. Dave, Andrew, Cory, Erik, Tim, Chris, Tyler, Terry, Corey, Pat, Zach, Joon, Bill, Keith, Tim, Gerry (think that's the whole crew) - everyone made it a new standard. All meets in the future will be judged by this one. Nick, Neil, Wally, Sondis, Alex, Yu, Brie - we missed you guys and hope you'll be here next time. This one was one for the record books. Again, Wally - hope everything goes/went well and your recovery is quick. We don't want you to miss the next one. Pics are coming from this one shortly but they won't even remotely get the full point across - this was simply awesome.
