Default Swap new AMB head onto ATW motor

You guessed it. Timing belt ate itself. Here is the catch though I have access to a brand new AMB head. What I need to know though is can I install it on my ATW (2000)? I have found a lot of conflicting info out there...please help me save my A4!

TIA

What's it include? Does it have cams or the cam phasers or any of that? The head itself will work but the 01+ motors have VVTi when the earlier ones don't, so it has a cam phaser (could have two, not sure). Replace that with non-VVTi equipment from your motor and it'll work, or you could probably adapt a 2001 ECU, which would also require switching to a wide-band front O2 sensor. If it doesn't include that stuff anyway then pull it over from your motor and you should be good, I'd say.

It includes everything. It is ready to be dropped in and go. Sorry for the noob question but what is VVTi? If it is minimal work then maybe that is the way to go. Thanks again!
