Ive got a b5 with a giant tear in the drives seat. I found a set of leather electric seats on craigslist for cheap but mine are manual seats. Can I hook up the electric ones with out mods? I would assume the powering would be supplied the same with having heated seats, but I havent pulled anything apart to look.

 

Just did the same on a 98 A4.
On our A4 I had to cut the metal front mounting point off the floor, install treaded inserts in existing holes and add a +12v wire and put a bigger ground wire in one of the wiring harness plugs under the seat.
Not hard just took a little time.

 

So the mounts are different? Isnt there a 12v to the seat already for the heat?
